A pleasant short route following the footsteps of artists in the beautiful surroundings of Lúčky Spa.
The Educational Trail of Artists leads behind the Choč Spa Hotel, Dependance Liptov, and Balneocentrum. The trail is dedicated to famous artists who worked in Lúčky. The gazebo is dedicated to Milan Michal Harminc, a well-known architect who designed Dependance Liptov; the artistic benches are dedicated to Tadeáš Salva, a famous composer and native of Lúčky, and Jožko Piťo, one of the most famous primás in Slovakia, who regularly played in Lúčky and contributed to the development of Slovak folk music.

The educational trail is an ideal route for seniors or families with small children. The benches shaped like musical instruments are a very nice photo point and an addition.

Roadbook
The route starts with a gently ascending path right by the spa hotel Choč, leading you to a meadow and continues past the gazebo, A. Plávka's bench up to the crossroads. From the crossroads, pleasant switchbacks lead to D. Ševca's bench and the chapel of St. Anthony of Padua. From there, it’s just a short way to the top of the hill called "Bald Hill," where the bench dedicated to Tadeáš Salva is located. From there, in good weather, there is a beautiful view of the Low Tatras. Next, you continue by joining a pleasant forest path heading to J. Piťo's bench and the local water tower. From there, you return by asphalt road back in front of the Choč Spa House, where on the way you can stop at the Valentin spring, the spa fountain, or the bench of thanks and wishes.

Bus transport operates from the town of Ružomberok, direction Lúčky, via Liptovská Teplá. You get off at the stop named Lúčky - Spa, turnaround, which is near the starting point of the educational trail.
Directions
From the D1 highway, exit to the village of Bešeňová, then continue through Liptovská Teplá to the village of Lúčky. Lúčky Spa is located at the end of the village of Lúčky.
