You float comfortably from Engelberg up to Ristis by aerial cableway. Then you stroll leisurely on a wide road to Rigidalstafel, then the hiking trail leads a few altitude meters up via P. 1880 towards the Brunnihütte. It is not difficult but informative. The Brunnipfad is a nature trail with information boards describing over 100 plant species; it is "a path through the habitat in the mountains." There is much to learn here, about animals and plants, forests, natural hazards, and tourism. At the Brunnihütte you marvel at the panorama from Titlis to the Hahnen, then you can also stroll around the pretty Härzlisee. Around the lake runs the tickle path. Take off your shoes and go: here you walk over varying grounds like sand, wood chips, pebbles, or clay, and in between the tired legs repeatedly plunge into the cool water. Before it goes down again to Ristis, you can stop at the Brunnihütte with its lovely sun terrace. Those who want to shorten the hike can also take the chairlift down
