Brixner Gangl

We start this circular hike in the center of Brixen im Thale. Shortly after the Knauer butcher shop, we turn right onto the driveway on the hill. We follow it to the gate and are already in the "Schneckgasse." Along this romantic alley, we continue to the junction of the "Zinting" path, where we keep right heading downhill. At the Reitlwirt, we cross the village street and continue through the railway underpass. We follow the asphalt road for about 50 m and turn left onto a field path. At the end of this field path (which runs along the railway line), we keep right and already see the first farms of the hamlet "Feuring." Before the Weberhof (riding facility), we turn left and follow the paved road to the Rieserbauer. Shortly after the farm, we turn right onto a field path that leads to a driveway. Following the driveway downhill, past the GH Winkelstüberl, we reach a bridge. The forest path on the "shady side" of Brixen leads us to a wide driveway, which we follow downhill. Upon reaching the Brixental cycle path, we keep right and come to a large playground. Shortly before the playground, we cross the bridge and after about 5 minutes reach the center of Brixen im Thale.
