A forest rally with Amalie, the little red forest ant.
From the forest telephone to the balancing beam, there are many stations on the approximately 2.5 km circular route where Amalie explains what there is to discover in the forest. Just counting the many ant hills alone would be enough of an experience for a walk. But there are also various stations where especially children can be active. At the long jump pit, children can try to see if they can jump farther than a mouse, hare, or deer. And from a view from the lookout tower, not only frogs are discovered, but also many colorful dragonflies.
The barefoot path naturally invites you to "see with your feet." It’s good if there is a helping hand nearby to guide you when your eyes are covered. And after all the experiences and explanations from Amalie, you can confidently lie on the forest lounger and watch the sky.
The official starting point is the forest parking lot in Hegne (behind the Meisterklause)
The forest adventure path is a project of the Local Agenda 21 Allensbach.
