From the end point of the bus line, a short stretch downhill into the valley, then path No. 25 leads uphill into the Würmtal, past the Reichegger Alm, Marxegger Alm, and Pircher Alm. Finally, the ski-/snowshoe track leads directly to the Wurmtaler Spitze (the summer path reaches the ridge a little further east at the Gornerjoch). Now continue eastwards along the ridge over the back of the Gornerberg to the Kreuzjöchl. Here begins the descent to Mühlwald.
