Not too long snowshoe hike starting from the parking lot in the Schindlbachtal. First a section on the forest road, then right to a hut, over flat forest roads up to just below the summit and a few meters cross-country to the summit cross. Descent somewhat more direct into the back of the valley.
Author’s recommendation
You can shorten the long and not always exciting forest road ascent by following a wide ditch shortly after the hut (which you pass) and ascending "straight" in this ditch up to about 1,140 m (see photo). Technically not difficult but strenuous.

Generally low avalanche danger. However, if you use the variant through the ditch, the avalanche situation must be significantly more relaxed.Tips and suggestions
There are several forest road options for ascent and descent. Depending on preference, other routes may also make sense here.Roadbook
We start at the large parking lot in the Schindlbachtal (closed to traffic from here). First, about 1.3 kilometers along the forest road upstream, just before a stream bridge, turn right onto another forest road uphill. You soon reach a hut, pass it, and follow forest roads uphill to an elevation of about 1,140 m. Here, it is worth taking a good look at the hiking map to avoid following wrong roads. Now over the gentle, sparsely wooded ridge to the two summit crosses at Schwereck (1,194 m).
From the summit, return to the forest road. Follow the ascent path back to a distinctive hairpin bend and continue a few more meters. Then descend through a light forest to another forest road. Turn left onto this, follow it for a short distance, and, depending on best options, cross again through high forest to the valley floor. Now follow the valley road outwards back to the starting point.
