Rauthhütte

Route: From the parking lot (subject to a fee), go back a short distance on the road. From the signpost, you ascend southwards over the open meadow slope to the forest clearing with the power line. In the clearing, continue over the undulating terrain, interrupted by flat meadows. You cross cross-country ski trails several times. At Fischkalter, you leave the forest (signpost). Afterwards, follow the wide path, partly next to or parallel to the ski trail, to Katzenloch (signpost). Here, head northwards and ascend steep serpentine summer trail to 1550 m. Afterwards, hike over the hilly terrain to a transmission mast from which a short climb leads to the plateau of Rauthhütte (1605 m, according to map). A cross stands a little off to the side.Descent: To avoid conflicts with ski tourers on the piste, the descent via the toboggan run is recommended.
