The starting point of this tour is the village of Sobrio. Start walking north along the alpine road and zigzag through the forest to Usc. Once here, first follow the hiking trail, then the forest road to Cuscine. Shortly after Cuscine, leave the trail in a northerly direction and walk along the Transportbach stream to Predanass, then north to the lago at the 1918 terrain point. Now climb up to Cogn at 2166m.a.s.l. You will finally reach Matro, the destination of your excursion, via the ridge. For the descent, follow the ascent track.
