Maria Larch Loop

Route: From the pilgrimage church Maria Larch, head west, passing the apparition chapel. Follow the Jacob's Way into the Larch valley to the Hoadngatter at the municipal road (crossroad). Now proceed through the forest on the road southwards, curving to Kirchneraste/Grüntal and through the Werlötz woodland section into the open meadows of Tierburg (819 m). Descent: Passing Tierburg, keep south towards the road intersection and then east there. Past Werlweiher, walk through the meadows of Voreggen and over Puiten (818 m) to the hamlet of Eggen. At the road bend there, go straight ahead and past the farmhouses to the edge of the forest ("Wolfensack"). Once there, turn sharply right, following the forest edge. Before the hunting stand, continue along a faint hollow path down to the start of the forest road at Aichberg (750 m) and gently downhill on the forest road to the bend (approx. 690 m, signpost).
