From the mountain station you can easily proceed along a good road from Alp Dundel to Dundelegg. The next patch crosses a pasture and involves a gradual 50-meter climb. Already on the ridge you'll find an unexpectedly generous view featuring the Sarnen and Lungern valleys as well as the Bernese Oberland and the surrounding mountains - giving you a sense of how nice it is up on Mändli. The descent follows the designated path, unless you are an experienced climber doing Option B.
