The high starting point at the mountain station of the Reinswald cable car offers us a fantastic view and snow reliability even in winters with little snow. A magnificent panoramic high-altitude trail leads from the mountain station without significant altitude differences to the Getrumalm. From there, it goes into a vast and quite wind-protected high basin, at the end of which the white plain of the frozen Getrumsee awaits us. The path there offers us dreamlike snowshoe terrain amidst a high alpine backdrop. The view ranges from the Dolomites with Sella, Langkofel, Rosengarten and Latemar over the Ortler mountains to the Ötztal Alps. And far to the south we can even make out the Garda Mountains in the blue haze.
