You can start to the top of Trebević on a forest road from Brus. From the Dobro Vode mountain lodge, turn left and go along the switchbacks leading to the top. In some places the path goes around, and somewhere you have to crawl under a log.
It takes about 2 hours to the very top. The return is via the western ridge and the heliodrome back to Brus.

On the marked path to the ruins of the mountain postal resting place and the Dobro Voda spring (1300m altitude). From Dobro Voda, follow the markings left along the forest path which later narrows into a trail. The ascent to the top is via the ridge. From the top, continue along the ridge beside the telecommunication antennas, descend to the road near the old heliodrome and take the road towards the big tower. Continue on the path to the fairly well preserved but abandoned PD Željezničar mountain lodge, from which you return towards Dobro Voda and Brus by the path you came from.
