Albrun Pass

This tour starts in Fäld, the last permanently inhabited settlement in the Binntal. Follow the marked snowshoe trail via Brunnebiel to Freichi. Through the narrow gorge you reach Chiestafel. After crossing the bridge, keep to the right, through the large hollow at Blatt, over the Oxefeld to the Binntal hut. From the hut, continue up to the Albrunpass. Here the view of the Parco Naturale Veglia- Dèvero opens up.
The trail continues in a south-easterly direction on the summer path into a large hollow. Here you do not descend to the right, but keep left towards Alpe Forno. Following the Rio d'Arbola, you reach Lago di Pianboglio, which you leave on the right. Continue until you reach Lago di Dèvero, which you cross lengthways. To the right of the dam wall, follow the path via Crampiolo to Alpe Dèvero.

The Binntal Hut is open in winter, but not catered for.
A regular Pronto bus runs between Alpe Dèvero and Baceno, and can also be booked the day before.
A regular bus service operates between Baceno and Domodossala.
