To Kelchalm near Aurach

In Aurach near Kitzbühel, a beautiful winter hike begins, where we repeatedly encounter relics from the mining era. From Kelchalm, also known as Bochumer Hut, we have a wonderful view of the lively winter sports town of Kitzbühel. However, the hut itself lies in a quiet, almost solitary location at 1432 m in a small valley near Aurach, which is also our starting point. Due to the steep and winding section at the beginning, the prepared track is only conditionally suitable for sledding beginners. The rest of the route can be described as rather relaxed, with two tighter curves providing driving fun.
