By train to Täsch: In less than 3½ hours from Zurich Airport or 4 hours from Geneva Airport. Visp is the transfer point to the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway. From Visp, the railway line leads through the Nikolai Valley, past small, idyllic villages to Täsch.Directions
Täsch can be reached from Visp by car in about 30–40 minutes. The route passes through the wild romantic Nikolai Valley.

Equipment
You need a SNOOC, a pair of good waterproof shoes, and a high-quality neoprene suit. For the SNOOC (sledding sled), consider wearing a mask and a scarf for your face and gaiters to prevent snow from getting inside your pants. A back protector is recommended.
