Before returning to the car park, the route becomes quite narrow. Here you should definitely brake in time.
Ascent and descent take place on the same path, so watch out for oncoming sledders or people on the track.

We start at the hiking car park to the Riederstein with an immediate ascent. When the path forks shortly afterwards, we continue straight ahead. After about a quarter of an hour, there is an alpine meadow at the side of the path, from where we have a beautiful view of Lake Tegernsee. Then we continue through the forest, after about half an hour our ascent path flattens out again. We reach another clearing and climb a short distance up to the Galaun-Alm.
Corresponding to the ascent, the sledding also starts off quickly, at the clearing we lose a little speed. Then we can let the sled run again and take a few sharp curves that lead us over the second clearing and back to our starting point.
