Roadbook
Start at the Skizentrum Dienten, follow the road through the village until you reach the end. Continue for about 100 meters further until you see the turnoff to the Grüneggweg on the right side. Here your ascent to the Grünegg Alm begins! The path leads you up and takes about 40 minutes. Be aware that the path is also the sledding route – so be careful and watch out for sleds that might come towards you. If you or someone in your group has mobility impairments, you can have the cable car put into operation. It is located only 200 meters further on the right, directly opposite the fire station. You can easily contact it at the phone number +43 6461 306. Have fun winter hiking to the Grünegg Alm and enjoy the view!

Directions
Arrival from Salzburg: Take the A10 motorway to the Bischofshofen exit, then B311 towards Bischofshofen. Follow the Hochkönig federal road/B164 to Mühlbach and continue to Dienten.
Arrival from Innsbruck/Kufstein: Take the Loferer Straße/B178 towards St. Johann i.T., then via the Hochkönig federal road/B164 through Saalfelden and Maria Alm to Dienten or to the Filzensattel.
A valid vignette is required for using the Austrian motorway and expressway network. Also mandatory to carry are a first aid kit, warning triangle, and safety vest. More information at Asfinag.
