Author’s recommendation
If you still have energy, walk along the educational trail Il mondo di Sciury.
The trail is usually groomed but we recommend bringing crampons in case of icy sections.

Safety information
- helmet compulsory up to 14 years old
- access forbidden to pedestrians and skiers
- for the little ones, it is recommended to use the two-seater sled accompanied by an adult
- sled use forbidden with ski boots
- use of private sledges and sleds allowed
- descent with bobsled or plastic sleds not allowed
- use of sled allowed only on the dedicated track

Tips and suggestions
Roadbook
Start from Molveno, buy the uphill ticket and rent the sled either at the base or at the top of the cable car. Take the chairlift up to Rifugio La Montanara and enjoy going down several times along the Scoiattolo slope, which offers panoramic views of the Dolomites and the lake.
Continue sledding on the Bambi slope, which goes from Pradel to Pian dei Sarnacli. Here every half hour a shuttle bus collects the sleds and takes you back to Molveno or Andalo.

Public transport: train from Trento to Mezzolombardo/Mezzocorona and then bus to Molveno.
Directions
From the North: Highway A22: exit San Michele all'Adige. State road SS43: exit Mezzolombardo. Provincial road SP64 towards "Altopiano della Paganella".
From the South: Highway A22: exit Trento Sud. Follow signs for Terme di Comano/Tione di Trento/Madonna di Campiglio. Shortly before Terme di Comano, follow signs: Villa Banale/San Lorenzo in Banale/Molveno.
