Wonderful route to the Zunderspitz in Ridnaun.
Our ski tour starts at the fire station just before the village of Maiern in the back Ridnauntal. To the right of the station begins trail no. 29, which leads us to the Lower Gewingesalm. Here we keep right and first go a little steep over a slope and then flatter up to the Upper Gewingesalm. From the alpine pasture, not too steep, straight up to a crest and then keep left towards the steep slope/ridge of the Zunderspitz. Up the ridge to the summit cross. Descent for experienced skiers: Follow more or less the ascent track to the Upper Gewingesalm. At the alpine pasture keep left and descend the forest slope until you cross the forest road. Here you can either continue left on the forest road or descend the forest slope again until the second crossing with the same forest road. Now stay on it and follow it down to the valley (Rieder forest and later Weihern). We come here to the junction with the Valmezonbach and Berglstraße. Down to the right and alongside the cross-country ski trail
