Wolfendorn

The starting point is the Gasthaus Brennerwolf (1360 m). Just behind the chapel, follow the forest road briefly to the junction. From here, either continue straight through the forest on the summer path, marker no. 12, up to the Luegeralm (1601 m); alternatively, reach it also via the forest road on the right in a long loop. At the upper edge of the meadow, always go straight up the valley through sparse forest. Keeping slightly to the left, you reach the start of a large steep hollow. Ascend through this until you almost reach the top, then turn right onto a ridge. Now you are back on flatter terrain and proceed in a gentle right curve into the valley. With moderate steepness through hollows and over ridges, you reach – first in a straight direction, then ascending left, and finally turning right – the beginning of the Wolfendorn southwest ridge.
