Very long spring and late spring ski route in the glaciated environment on the Wilder Freiger near the Becherhaus in the Ridnauntal.
From Maiern (1426m) in the Ridnauntal ascend towards Sennerbodenalm (1717m). Before the alm, go left into the steep and narrowing gully, then right onto a small plateau. Short descent into the sandy ground (approx. 50m vertical), cross it and overcome the steep step with a left curve. Here, cross the steeply falling slopes on the left (!) into the glacier basin of the Ebenferner (approx. 2600m) and ascend over it in a long left curve, past the Becherhaus, up to the foot of the summit flank of the Wilder Freiger. Ascend this and the last 30m on foot to the north-exposed summit of the Wilder Freiger at 3,418m. Descent the same as ascent.
