Wild Cross Peak, 3132 m

Ascent: Follow the road for 15 minutes to the Kurzkofelhütte. Then take the toboggan run to just before the Fanealm (1739 m). On the left side of the valley follow the path to the beginning of the gorge „die Schramme“. Above the gorge – possibly a little tricky because of ice and avalanches – to its end (1980 m). There straight through the valley to the left of the stream towards the Brixner Hütte (2344 m). This remains on the right. Behind the hut left up a slope diagonally upwards to a saddle (2500 m). Behind it, enter the valley and turn left through depressions up to the Rauhtaljoch (2808 m). Behind the yoke up to the right and around a corner to the left under the large summit slope. Go up this slope and at the top turn right onto a ridge (3070 m). Left over the last slope directly to the summit with cross. Descent as ascent.
