Texelspitze

The starting point is the mountain inn Vorderkaser Jägerrast (1693 m). On the farm road into the valley and over the Mitterkaser-Rableidalm until just before the Eishof (2071 m); about 1 hour to this point. Now diagonally right to the stream. Over it and – left of a gully – steeply through loose larch forest up over a ridge. At 2370 m it becomes flatter. You head diagonally left up and through beautiful hollows and over ridges to the middle of the valley towards the end of the right rock ridge. From here, up the left side of the bowl and at 3050 m below the summit structure of the Texelspitze again right upwards into the saddle (ski depot) right of the summit. The last 20 vertical meters left over a block ridge to the summit. Descent: same as ascent, although in the valley you can come far out on the left side. Tip: In late spring with a mountain bike to the Eishof (good path!)
