The Crap Putèr is part of the mountain range of Piz Nair. It protrudes slightly and therefore offers a beautiful view into the Lower Engadine.
The starting point of the route is the village of Tarasp. (1402 m above sea level) Along the southwest leading alpine road, the route leads into Val Vallatscha up to Alp Laisch (1814 m above sea level). From Alp Laisch, the forest path leads along a summer path northwards into the forest clearing. In the forest clearing, the path leads again southwest to the fork below Crap Putér. (2215 m above sea level) The final ascent leads over a rock step above Mot Fuorcla to Crap Putèr. (2368 m above sea level) There are two descent options, one via the ascent path and the other via the forest clearing Laviner Gitmot.
