Relatively avalanche-safe route to the Sulzspitze in the back Penser Valley.
From Asten, 1521 m, ascend the forest road a short distance. Then turn right to the Traminer Alm hut, 1970 m – into the valley north of the Sulzspitze and very steeply to a saddle, 2514 m. Along the ridge to the summit of the Sulzspitze, 2572 m. Descent follows the ascent track. In case of avalanche danger it is better to descend via the northern ridge to the Seebergalm and then to Asten.
