The main summit of the Sulzspitze is much less visited in winter than the flatter adjacent winter summit, which is also known as the Northern Sulzspitze. The main summit offers wonderfully steep ski slopes that promise pure downhill enjoyment. The panorama from the summit extends from the Dolomites to the main Alpine ridge. When there is a lot of snow, there are countless downhill variants through the forest afterwards.

Safety information
Pay attention to safe avalanche conditions!Roadbook
From the parking lot, keep right along the valley floor and follow the forest road to the first left curve. Then turn right toward the stream, cross it, and ascend through open forest towards "Paulinwand". Below a rock ridge, turn left steeply past a water catchment area, cross the stream again, and return to the forest road. Follow this to the alpine hut in the Tramintal. Above and to the left of the hut, ascend through a narrow valley to the next plateau and past a weather station. Now proceed over hollows and ridges keeping right until below the steep summit slope. Climb this very steeply and shortly below the summit, deposit skis. The last meters to the cross are climbed on foot over the ridge. Descent as ascent.
