Parking lot at Gasthof Alpenheim. We follow the forest road westward (Feldner Hut). First slightly ascending up to 1350m, then a short section slightly descending to a bridge. Cross the bridge and continue on the forest road. After two switchbacks, we reach the junction Dechant-Striedenkopf. We follow the right path. Signpost Feldner Hut. At 1550m, depending on snow conditions, we can stay on the forest road or use the available shortcuts. Continue always heading west until reaching the Gmanalm Hut at 2000m. Pass the hut. Keeping left, following the slopes that become a bit steeper until you reach the flatter alpine meadows. Using the terrain features, head north until 2600m. Over the summit ridge to the summit. Descent as ascent.
