Easy ski route in the southern Black Forest. Although the neighboring Herzogenhorn is visited more often, one should not forget the Spiesshorn. It can either be easily included in the Herzogenhorn route or, as described here, done as a separate route starting from Menzenschwand.

From the parking lot across to the Mösele lift. Now climb steeply along the edge of the piste until the wide Krunkelbach path is reached. Follow this path until you reach a fork with a small shelter on the left. Pass by this and head up to the forest edge in a southeast direction across the open area of the Krunkelbach. From here, follow the trail markings up to the summit with the viewing pavilion.
Descend southwest through the forest to a narrow forest path that leads down to the Schwinbach lift. From here, return over the pistes back to the starting point.
