The steep pyramid of the Üntschenspitze with its huge avalanche paths is a striking sight over Schoppernau – and blocks the view of one of the most rewarding ski tours in the Bregenzerwald: the Güntlespitze.
The steep pyramid of the Üntschenspitze rises unmistakably directly over Schoppernau, which despite the prohibitive avalanche path is a rewarding ski tour destination. However, most ski tourers content themselves with the neighboring Güntlespitze – which is much easier to climb and at the same time the starting point for the great, consistently fast descent to the north.
