This ski route is only for experienced ski tourers and powder skiers. You first follow the forest road to Kreealm (not operated in winter). Then follows an idyllic stretch through the forest before you reach the beautiful mountain basin in the national park area. Now keep to the left track towards Mureck. On the ridge you reach the Murtörl - the first summit cross. Now you have almost made it. On the right side, you can already see the summit Mureck.

With good snow conditions, the descent up to the forest section is a delight!

    Author’s recommendation

On cold winter days, the wind usually blows strongly at the summit. Take warm clothing and hot drinks with you.

    Roadbook

You start directly from the parking lot - cross the long field and then go left uphill towards Kreealm. Here you can choose between the more comfortable forest road or the steeper path / shortcuts.

At Kreealm, you go past and enter the forest to the right. Once you reach the tree line, always keep left (to the right leads to Schöderhorn). From here, the view is simply a dream. A snow-covered mountain basin!

The next stage destination is the Murtörl with a small summit cross. Now you can already see the summit on the right. Just a few more meters in altitude and you have made it.

The descent is a dream in good snow conditions. From Kreealm, you follow the forest road.
