Beautiful ski tour through the deeply snow-covered forest with the destination Kreistenalm
This route starts in Alpendorf from the Ötzmoos farmer. The route first goes quite steeply into the forest. In a deeply snow-covered landscape, it is simply a dream. You usually also have a great view of the Salzach valley. Since there are no difficult sections, this route is also perfect for beginners. After the ascent, you can comfortably ski down the Alpendorf slopes.

Roadbook
The start at the Ötzmoos farmer is above Alpendorf. The Hotel Alpendorf guests are happily driven to the starting point by the hotel bus (www.hotel-alpendorf.at). Then the first section goes up the forest road "Dachmannweg." After about 300m, the ski touring path goes uphill to the right. After a short steep ascent, it goes into the hopefully deeply snow-covered forest. After about an hour, you reach the destination, the Kreistenalm, where you can stop for a wonderful break. Public transport
By ÖBB to St. Johann im Pongau and then by ski bus to Alpendorf. Unfortunately, the start of the tour is not accessible by bus. You walk from Alpendorf about 20 minutes on foot. As a Hotel Alpendorf guest, we are happy to drive you to the start of the tour.Directions
Via the A 10, Tauern motorway, Bischofshofen junction, exit Sankt Johann, then on the B 311, the Pinzgauer federal road about 5 kilometers, exit Alpendorf St. Johann-South – about 3 km, turn left to Alpendorf, then about 500 m uphill, turn left towards Ötzmoos.Parking
There is no public parking directly at the start. The best option is the uppermost car park of the Alpendorf cable cars and then walk the last part on foot (about 10 minutes).Coordinates
