On weekends there is often a rush on the well-known Glarus ski mountain Schilt. Those who want it quieter can resort to the neighbouring Schwarzstöckli. This rock formation is less impressive in shape than the mighty Schilt, but almost 100 meters higher. From the free-standing summit you have an equally beautiful panoramic view of the Glarus Alps. To shorten the route, on weekends and during school holidays (operating times here) the Schilt ski lift can be used. Difficulty according to SAC: WS.
