Very long and lonely ski route to the Schwarzseespitze in the remotest Passeiertal.
From the Timmelsbruck (1758m) follow the forest road to the Timmelsalm (1979m). Pass this and keeping right ascend under the "Langegg" into an elongated basin. Cross this lengthwise towards the east, at its end ascend briefly steeply to the left and then cross the right descending slopes into the plain of the "Oberkrumpwasser" (2300m). Always orient yourself eastwards and continue to a visible saddle. Climb steeply over this until the summit of the Schwarzseespitze finally appears. Always keeping right ascend over the steep and exposed (!) west ridge to under the summit rocks. Very carefully bypass these on the right and shortly after ascend to the highest point, the Schwarzseespitze at 2,988m. Descent: From the summit keeping right descend the west flank and then across the broad plain back to the Timmelsalm and the starting point.
