From the Lengau parking lot, immediately ascend left over the bridge. After the Labeckalm, a forest road branches off to the left with a signpost for Schusterkogel. After about 2 km on the forest road, you cross a bridge, then continue uphill along the stream. Before the Saalhof - Grundalm (2 huts), cross the stream again and after about 300 m, ascend left steeply uphill. From here you enter open terrain, passing the Saalhof - Hochalm. Continue over structured slopes into the cirque below the Schusterkogel. A short steep slope leads to a ridge and then directly to the summit ascent, either on skis or on foot.
