Difficult ski route through the Klapfberg valley to the Schrummspitze in the Ultental
From Sporthof over the bridge and across meadows uphill to the farm drive Klapfwies and next to it to the start of the forest road, 1440 m. Follow this about 4 km into the Klapfberg valley until at 1769 m a small hut stands on the left. To this and just right of the large avalanche gully go straight uphill to a water catchment, 1940 m. Then a bit more steeply straight up through the forest up to rocks. Here turn left into the gully and through it to the small Schrummalm, 2192 m. From the Alm straight up a hollow to a plain with a large rock block. Slightly uphill left to two rock blocks and then flat, a bit downhill, under a rock spur, 2340 m, and to the right side of Schrummjoch, 2420 m. Now 50 m very steeply up to the right (carry skis) and over a ramp into the hollow, further to the saddle, 2517 m, between Schrummspitze and Cima Binasia. Left over a steep rocky ridge with light climbing to the summit with pole and summit book. Descent same as ascent.
