Follow the path (shortcuts possible) 2.8 km to the Ochsen hut (1690 m). Just below the hut, pass left and go up to the right of the ravine. A clear path leads through the dwarf pines to a plateau (1750 m). Go straight right of the dwarf pine belt up under the rocks, 1950 m (there is a cable car support on the left above). Go diagonally left to a short, steep and narrow gully. Up through it and over a steep ridge into the large gully. At 2030 m, go right up to the cable car support (2080 m). Straight over a ridge and past the Sheep Hut on the left (2116 m). At 2150 m turn left onto the ridge right of the gorge up to 2300 m. Here left under the rocks and through them onto a plateau (2400 m). The hut remains on the left. Over the plateau and through a hollow into the next plateau (2456 m, Stubensee). Over this and up the broad slope on the left side to the next plateau (2600 m). Continue up through the basin (2750 m). Diagonally left and steeply up to a ledge, 2900 m. Steeply through a
