From the summit, ski down moderately steep forest slopes to the Kalter Brunn saddle (1693m). From the saddle, you can either climb up to Schönwipfel (1911m) and ski down from there via the classic ascent route to Monte Cocco to the car, or cross from the saddle down a road southwards and meet the Monte Cocco route at about 1560m, following beautiful alpine meadows back into the valley.

Directions
First take the A2 south to Tarvis (ITA). There, take the motorway exit and pass through the urban area, then follow the main road towards Pontebba until the village of Uggovizza.From Uggovizza (Uggowitz) in the Canale Valley, a road leads through the Uggwa Valley (severe mudflow in 2003) to the Osteria del Camoscio (1140m). Normally, this road is also cleared in winter. However, in case of heavy snowfall, you may have to park the car already at about 1000m elevation.
