Jägerhaus "Jagahäusl" im BodinggrabenSafety information
The ski tour has very steep, avalanche-dangerous sections and therefore should be undertaken only with low avalanche danger.Tips and suggestions
I have set up a panoramic view athttps://www.alpen-panoramen.de/panorama.php?pid=39649
.
Roadbook
We start at the last parking lot 300 m past the (closed in winter) Jagahäusl inn.
Here the Blöttenbach flows into the Krumme Steyrling.
The parking lot is also the starting point in winter for ski tours to Trämpl (via Schaumbergalm), Großer Größtenberg (via Steyrsteg) and Hoher Nock (via Feichtauer Lakes).
We start on the forest road towards Feichtauhütte.
After 300 m, the beautiful Bodinggraben forestry house is on the right.
After another 300 m, we take the forest road to the right, which leads us to the (ruined) Zaglbauernalm.
We cross the Eselgraben; at a sharp left turn, the Zaglbauernalm is reached.
Comfortably another 1.2 km westward, then the end of the Alm is reached.
Now keeping to the right through very steep forest (with significant windthrow), always along steep walls (from which there is avalanche danger), laboriously upwards.
At around 1300 m, we reach open meadows; it is still steep at first, the last 100 altitude meters flat to the beautiful summit of Rotgsol.
Descent as ascent.
