Rotbachlspitze

If the road is not yet cleared, go right below Steinhof along the fence on the right side of the meadow up to the Pfitscher-Joch road. Follow this for 400 m to the road sign “89”. Now take the old path on the left, past the rest chapel and up to the road on the left. Along this for 5 minutes to the left to the hairpin bend (1600 m). To the left begins a forest path that diagonally leads up left to an avalanche slope. Over this diagonally up left and then right to the road before the 4th hairpin bend (1800 m). Follow the road for a short distance until at a curve the summer path on the left leads steeply through the forest up to the Jochplatte. Go left above the Jochplatte towards the notch between the rocks. Through a gully up to the Pfitscher-Joch house. Keep to the left and go on the north side of the ridge, later on it towards east, until to a raised border stone, no. 159 (2450 m). Here first flat, then slightly climbing left into the valley where at 2500 m the large west slope
