With an elevation difference of about 670m from the Roßbach parking lot (1254m), the summit can be reached in less than 2 hours. The orientation is not too difficult, so the tour can also be done in less than optimal weather conditions.
The described variant can also be managed well by moderately skilled skiers, with the steepness of the descent around 20 degrees.
Rosenkogel also offers various descent options that can keep you busy for a whole day if you don't mind the effort of skinning and climbing again.
From Rosenkogel, you can also include Lahneck if you have the necessary stamina and don’t shy away from the renewed ascent to Rosenkogel.
