From Glieshof in the Matscher Valley over the Saldurboden to the Ramudelfkopf in Upper Vinschgau
From Glieshof via the forest road to the Inner Matscher Alm (2022 m, 2.7 km). From the Alm straight across the meadow up the summer path and over the narrow ridge to the right of the stream to the Saldurboden (2380 m). After the steep ascent to the Saldurboden (2380 m), continue straight over the broad slope in a southerly direction and moderately uphill to a hump (2630 m). Obliquely right through a hollow into a notch (2850 m). Then flat to the left and above a hollow into a large basin (2920 m). Here you see a steep hollow between two rock heads. Up through this into a saddle (3020 m). Flat to the right to the Ramudelferner. Over this, moderately steep long upwards to just before the broad saddle in the south. At about 3240 m, turn right up the east slope and finally steeply directly to the summit with a cairn. Descent as ascent. From the Saldurboden, you can descend a nice gully just left of the ascent route.
