Plattspitze, 2669 m

Ascent: Follow the road for 15 minutes to the Kurzkofelhütte. Then take the toboggan run to just before the Fanealm, 1739m. Before the Almdorf, turn left over the bridge. Cross the meadow and through sparse forest to a path coming from the right. Follow this path to a hollow (2020 m). Attention! This section is prone to avalanches from the right. Through this steep hollow, straight up from a ridge on the right until you reach a plain (2150 m). Continue straight on over moderately sloping terrain until you reach the basin below the steep summit slope (2500 m). If the right slopes are dangerous for avalanches, turn left into a hidden hollow and you will also reach the basin below the summit slope. Climb this slope into the small saddle to the right of the summit and shortly turn oh left to the summit with cross. Descent as ascent.
