The ski route on Perstinden is one of the safest from avalanches in the area. Despite this, the summit offers great views and is highly recommended.
The route on Perstinden is very easily accessible and also feasible in poor road conditions. From the summit at 917 meters elevation, you can see the sea and endless expanses, which also invite exploration by cross-country skis. Especially as an introductory route to get to know the area or the group and also in more dangerous snow conditions, this route is suitable. The ascent is easy to manage and with the right track choice, you always stay below a slope angle of 30°. Nevertheless, the slopes offer enjoyable downhill possibilities and there is also the possibility to extend the route and additionally climb the 1166-meter-high Rassevarri, adding another 800 meters of elevation gain.
