Outer Nockenkopf

The starting point is the base station of the drag lift at the northern end of Reschen village (1511 m). Diagonally left to the path at a wayside cross. Now always follow the path - mostly groomed - uphill. Keeping more to the left and following the stations of the cross road, you reach the pilgrimage chapel which you leave on the left (1749 m). Now follow marker no. 7 (signpost "Nockenkopf"), right on a path to a barn below the meadow. Through this straight up and left through loose forest over a ridge into the next meadow. Again straight up over this to a fence. Over this and straight over a ridge with loose larch forest to the tree line. On the left you see above the large ditch the "Stielegg Cross". Still a bit further up the ridge - there is a fence on the right -, until at 2380 m you can diagonally left cross the hollow through flatter terrain. Continue diagonally upwards into a weakly pronounced saddle (2500 m). Now on the right side in a gentle left traverse to a large rock.
