Ski tour route in two stages. Challenging but rewarding route.
We go to the small church over the bridge, then through the forest along the summer route to reach the Rifugio Borletti, 2,188 m. From here, below the west ridge, we go up a hollow where we continue the ascent as far as the top at 2,800 m. (we should keep to the left on this section of the route; slabs of ice regularly fall on the right!). We reach a basin. From here we go up slightly to the right to where a steep slope begins, at 3,100 m, after which we enter a hollow valley on the right, called “Bear Hole” (Bärenloch). We climb up and, to the right of the shelter, at 3,316 m, we continue the steep ascent as far as the shoulder, 3,320 m. We reach the summit along a ridge. We climb up (often on icy ground) to reach the top of a platform, approx. 3,600 m, which is less steep (keep an eye out for crevasses!). We head south on less steep ground, go right around an icy bulge and head to the mountain top diagonally to the left. We cross a ridge and reach the cross on the summit shortly
