Ofenspitze 2398m

Shortly, you descend from the hut along the alpine path and then turn into the flat alpine meadows of Zwerglalm. With gentle ups and downs, you reach a forester's house. Behind it, the first steep section in the forest is climbed up to signposts. Here, do not continue south towards the Sadnigbach gorge but turn right westwards into the increasingly steep forest. Through several switchbacks, a hut visible from afar is reached; beyond it, the further route is clearly visible. Very steep avalanche-prone slopes must now be overcome before crossing left into a somewhat flatter wide hollow. Now, the ever-steepening slope under the south ridge is climbed in many serpentines until the south ridge flattens somewhat. Along the ridge, the ski summit of Ofenspitze is easily reached. Shortly exposed, it goes on foot along the narrow connecting ridge almost flat in a few steps to the highest point.

Descent: The very steep wide south slope offers plenty of space for the descent; a left turn leads into the southeast avalanche slope. Above the hut, you can now ascend a few meters to the left and then ski down shaded along the rocks in the sparse steep high forest to Zwerglalm.
