The Nornspitze is a 2718m high summit in the Pfunderer Mountains. From the summit, you have a wonderful view of the surrounding 3000m peaks such as the Wilde Kreuzspitze and the Wurmaulspitze. A highlight of the route is the narrow path through the Schramme, a very impressive narrow gorge. The incline of the summit slope is pure ski enjoyment; only the middle section past the Labesebenalm is a bit flat. The choice of dining options afterwards at the well-known Fanealm is countless. Overall, it is a wonderful solitary ski route.

    Safety information

Attention, the slopes above the Schramme are often avalanche-prone!

    Roadbook

From the parking lot at the valley end of Vals, ascend via the toboggan run up to the Fanealm. From there, follow the path on the left side of the valley to the beginning of the gorge "Schramme." Pass through it to its end at about 1980m. From there, follow the signpost immediately into the left valley towards the Labesebenalm. From the hut, stay always left above the stream and follow it until you reach the stream gorge. Then go right of the stream over a small saddle left of the large rock formation into the upper valley. From here, ascend the summit ridge in many switchbacks and then follow it left to the summit.
