From Stilfs via the Liechtenberger Scharte to the Munwarter (Vitelspitz) in the Ortler area
Follow the forest road about 1 km northward to a gate. Another 100 m further, where a signpost marked no. 11 indicates the route to the Liechtenberger Scharte (1833 m). Now left along route no. 11 through open woodland. Always stay left of the fence to reach a signpost at 2068 m. Now turn left up onto the ridge and continue along it with a moderate ascent to a small wooden cross. Always heading west and left into a shallow hollow below the somewhat steeper summit structure. Stay slightly left and walk over a ridge to the widely visible summit cross. Descent the same way as ascent.
