Marbachhöhe - Grinnköpfl

Take the ski bus to Hintermoos, passing the Bachschmiede Inn on the way to the practice lift at the Federal Sports School. Head down the slope to the parking lot. Immediately after the parking lot, turn left toward the southeast across open terrain to the Neualm. Continue southeast into the Waldbucht. Now ascend 300 meters in elevation toward the southeast. Parallel to a ridge, continue on a moderately steep slope heading south, passing a beautiful hut; after the hut, the trail turns left over a short steep section toward the ridge to a fork in the trail with a signpost. Either head straight to the Marbachhöhe or take a short descent via the Grinnköpf (1,707 m). Now continue over the Marbachhöhe, where the descent leads past the Gerlalm and Eggeralm to the parking lot.
