Louwihorn 3773m and Jungfrau 4158m from the Konkordiahütte
Several possibilities to descend to the Konkordiahütte:
1.) First over the piste and then the mostly well-tracked Jungfraufirn, initially steeper and finally almost flat, descending left over the Konkordiaplatz.
2.) Climb the groomed hiking trail eastwards for about 200 meters above sea level on the upper Jungfraufirn to the Oberes Mönchsjoch (Mönchsjochhütte north of it). Then descend southeastwards with moderate gradient on the Eternal Snow Field and then glide over the rather flat glacier body up to the Grünhorn. Here, orographically on the far left, avoid the large glacier crevasse and descend along the side moraine slopes finally in a very steep gully to the Konkordiaplatz.
3.) After a short descent on the Jungfraufirn, skins are put on and ascend westwards avoiding crevasses to the Louwitor. Now first descend flat to the first crevasses, then steeper on the orographically left edge of the Kranzbergfirn in several steps to the Aletschfirn. Here, eastwards to and over the Konkordiaplatz.
4.) Ascents from the Valais via Fafleralp and Lötschenlücke or via Fiescheralp and Aletsch tongue are also possible. At the foot of the Fülbärg (=southeastern rock boundary of the Konkordiaplatz), skis are deposited at the rock blocks and steeply climbed over the 433 steps of the steel staircase, then still secured and easily over rocks the 120 meters to the Konkordiahütte are ascended.

Roadbook
After a short descent to the lowest point of the Konkordiaplatz, skins are put back on. The plateau is crossed on flat terrain. The mouth of the Aletschfirn is ascended westwards, keeping rather to the right. Around crevasses, a broad ridge is reached, which is followed in a wide right curve to the mouth of the Kranzbergfirn. In the wide basin west of the ridge, ascending under the glacier crevasses, the route is crossed to the northeast. The crevasses are overcome on the right over the steep west slopes of the Kranzberg. Now we ascend in gentle steps several small glacier basins first on the right, later in the middle, up to the saddle between Gletscherhorn and Kranzberg. From here we see the firn crest of the Louwihorn below the Rottalhorn. Quite flat and broad, the Louwitor is soon reached. A moderately steep firn slope leads to the summit ridge, over which the Louwihorn is easily climbed.
Descent along the ascent route down to the Louwitor, then steeply northwards over a broad glacier slope to the Jungfraufirn down to the ascent track from the Jungfraujoch. Skins on.
From the glacier basin between Louwihorn and Rottalsporn, we ascend almost flat in a right curve westwards. At the first very steep south slope, the marginal crevasse is crossed at a suitable spot and the firn slope of the Rottalsporn is reached in a few switchbacks. With a pleasant gradient, the broad ramp is ascended up to below the Rottalhorn and then crossed northwestwards beneath it to below the Rottalsattel. A ski depot is usually set up under the marginal crevasse. Equipped with crampons and ice axe, the marginal crevasse is overcome somewhat precariously and the last steep meters are tramped up to the Rottalsattel. Moderately steep and narrow northwards along the saddle, then one crosses quite exposed, mildly ascending to the left rock edge of the very steep south ridge ("Menschenfresser" - accident prone!!, a safety pole in the firn crossing). On the right of the rocks, the firn is ascended very steeply, soon the ridge levels off a bit and steadily becomes easier, reaching the somewhat flatter summit slope. This is traversed up to the rocky summit structure, then ascending to the left over mixed terrain to the ridge edge. Over the short southwest ridge, the summit of the Jungfrau is reached in a few steps.
Descent along the ascent route, descent from the Rottalsattel either over the Rottalsporn along the ascent route or, in very good conditions, very steeply down through the glacier crevasses between Rottalhorn and Jungfrau to the skin-on spot. Now a counter-ascent of about 200 meters to the Sphinx tunnel (train) or 400 meters to the Mönchsjoch hut must be accepted (unless descending to the Konkordiahütte via the Jungfraufirn).
